WARTEX: Debut EP Available For Download

WARTEX, the Drammen, Norway-based band featuring members of DEAD SHERIFF, KOLDBRANN, RIBCAGE and CROWCANE, has just released its first, self-financed EP, entitled "Drink, Fuck, Drive". The entire EP is available for download at www.myspace.com/wartexmetal.

According to a press release, WARTEX's music "can be described as a mix of MOTÖRHEÄD and W.A.S.P., with elements of thrash metal thrown in for good measure."

WARTEX started out in early 2004, but went on a year's hiatus because of personnel difficulties. They regrouped in March 2006 and have since completed a handful of gigs. The band's first full-length album will be recorded before Christmas, to be followed by a Norwegian and Swedish tour in early 2007.
